DRAGON WEATHERVANE

J. Donald Felix has been working with copper since the age of fifteen, starting as an apprentice. Over the next decade he acquired the skills needed to hand form copper without the use of molds, and at the age of 27, started his own business.
Don has earned a reputation for creating antique weathervane reproductions as well as custom copper weathervanes. As a wildlife enthusiast he also creates nature's creatures in copper with his own unique style and is able to give them "life" - his metal wall sculptures depict natural scenes with a fine balance of trees and grasses. In addition, Don creates hand pounded copper sconces and traditional copper lighting.
Don Felix specializes in custom weathervanes, able to produce any style weathervane from a photograph. Decorative as well as functional, many of his weathervanes grace the inside of homes as sculpture.
