This Gallery presents a few of my favorite works, inspired by 19th century folk art weathervanes and sculptures. They are my adaptations of the originals. I am no longer actively carving -
web design is now full time.

MAN WITH CANE
19 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" wide

This is one of my favorite pieces - displaying a classic and simple elegance.

ANGEL OF LIFE

Limited Edition of: 5

This piece was created from a sketch that my wife did. Each of the angels in the edition was decorated differently.

UNCLE SAM

Uncle Sam holds a painted metal flag with the stars cut out, and features handmade Sculpey clay buttons.

MERMAID
14 1/2" tall by 8" wide by 7 1/2" deep
Limited Edition of 3

The inspiration for this piece was a circa 1810 wood sculpture, possibly used as a garden fountain. The original actually looked more like a man than a woman! My adaptation features a handmade paper clay necklace and copper ornaments.

ANGEL DEVINE
6 1/2" tall
One-of-a-kind

Inspired by Goddess of Liberty and Columbia weathervanes, this piece was designed for Enesco's "Spirit of Angels Collection" in 1996.

STATUE OF LIBERTY
13 1/4" tall by 8" wide by 3" deep
One-of-a-kind

A variation of several old versions of The Statue of Liberty and several versions of "Columbia" type weathervanes came together to inspire this piece.
